Returns & Refunds Policy

At Thomas Oxley Photography, we take great pride in the quality of our prints. Every piece is carefully inspected before shipping, but on very rare occasions, something may go wrong, such as a print arriving damaged, mishandled, lost in transit, or with a defect that escaped our quality control. We know how disappointing that can be, and we promise to put it right quickly.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at info@tomoxley.com within seven (7) days of receiving your order. We may request photographic evidence of the damage to help us process your claim.

Once confirmed, we will:

  • Send a free replacement (where possible), or
  • If a replacement cannot be provided for any reason, issue a full refund.

To complete the return, please include the item in its original condition along with any Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and relevant documentation. Returns must be sent to Thomas Oxley Photography with a trackable delivery service. Details of this will be provided in communication, should this situation occur.

Refunds or replacements will only be processed once we have received and inspected the returned item.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only offered if:

  • The product arrives damaged, or
  • There is a significant shipping delay (beyond normal postal variations or delays caused by customs, which are outside our control).

What constitutes a “significant delay” will be determined at our reasonable discretion.

Due to the bespoke, made-to-order nature of our (limited edition) prints, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for any other reason (for example, a change of mind).

Delivery & Responsibility

You acknowledge that we are not responsible for verifying the authority of the person who signs for or takes receipt of your goods.

Product Information & Copyright

All prints are sold unmounted and unframed unless otherwise stated.
Only images available in the Print Store section of www.tomoxley.com are offered as prints.

All purchased images remain the sole copyright of Thomas Oxley Photography. By purchasing a print, you agree that:

  • The print is for personal use only.
  • It may not be used for commercial purposes, including public display, reproduction, resale, or syndication to third parties.
  • The print and any digital representations of it may not be used for the creation, training, or fine-tuning of artificial intelligence (AI) systems or machine learning models.
  • No materials from the site may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, transmitted, or distributed in any form, including by electronic means.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that any unavailable items are clearly marked as such. However, we reserve the right not to process an order if an item is unavailable.

Photographer’s Note: Each print is either hand-signed or bears the photographer’s digital signature, serving as a guaranteed mark of authenticity and enhancing its value as a collectible artwork. Please note that the signature is from the photographer, not the subject depicted in the image.
